Case Study 2: National ingredients supplier
Food under Focus were approached by a national ingredients
company whose customers predominantly supplied the retail sector.
The challenge was to break into the Foodservice market and negate
seasonal fluctuations as far as possible.
Food under Focus formulated a project plan in order to
achieve these objectives. Firstly, a seminar was held with existing
customers, and the structure of the foodservice market and distribution
routes were discussed at length. This was followed up by a half-day
visit to each company to discuss opportunities on site & compile
an activity plan. This involved a review of all products and an
evaluation of their appeal to the foodservice industry.
Food under Focus advised on the production of sales brochure
targeted at the foodservice industry and presented at the launch
of the brochure.

partners with an in depth knowledge of foodservice & the commercial
energy to develop the business.
